Our Staff
The staff at Little Miracles are highly trained certified caregivers. Additionally, they take part in regular trainings and background checks to assure that your children are receiving the best and most innovative childcare available. We're proud that after 26 years, some of our kids are still stopping by to visit!
Carla Cardoza
Mrs. Carla is the Owner/Director of Little Miracles. She established Little Miracles in April of 1999, inspired by her daughter. When designing her center she never wanted a child to feel left behind or lost at a larger child care facility - to be cared after by the next person on duty, lacking that important personal connection. So she established Little Miracles with a desire to create a family feel for children so they could feel at ease in their earliest learning environment. Mrs. Carla still has close contact with her first group of kids and their families. She has even had the joy and opportunity of welcoming many of them as interns at Little Miracles. She's proud that so many years later, she can still be a positive role model in their lives. Some of those kids have even returned to Mrs. Carla to help care for their own kids. After 26 years of serving her community, Mrs. Carla is proud to continue this work.
Taprisha Walker
Mrs. Walker is our head senior director and staff leader, she has had years of experience and training, has her certification in early childhood education, CPR and First Aid. Additionally, Mrs. Walker has participated in health screening and on-going professional training. Mrs. Walker began at Little Miracles as an aide and is now a full time member of the Little Miracles family!
Coach Tyrelle and Tyre'e
The brains behind our new Core Athletes Enrichment program and the Twin sons of Mrs. Carla, these two were raised in Little Miracles and also have years of experience working with kids outside of Little Miracles. They have been employed with Maryland Parks and Rec services, along with other children's entertainment companies. Tyrelle and Tyre'e have also launched their own party rental service, helping children celebrate their big occasions since 2018 and can be found @3ts_inflatables_rental on Instagram.
Tyrell and Tyre'e came up with the concept of their Core Athletes Enrichment program with COVID-19 in mind. They've created a way for kids to play in a safe environment, while encouraging social and physical development.
